Noah Schnapp explains his thought about this character’s Will’s significance in the story
Are you still feeling upside down about Stranger Things ending? Then, you must check out this tease about its last season.
Actor Noah Schnapp who portrays Will Byers in the hit Netflix show since it’s 2016, cryptically teases the show’s final season revealing he’s, “very, very excited for what’s to come,” as the Duffer Brothers have developed one epic sendoff.
Noah said in a Dec 26 Forbes interview,” I think they did a great job with Will’s character this season, and beautifully addressed everything they needed to. The way they closed the show is just perfect—the story started with Will, and it’ll end with Will.”
From the ending of the previous season, it’s depicted that Will is going to be the key player in this season of Netflix’s hit drama. Will will take down Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), who made deathly portals from the Upside Down into Hawkins, Ind. in the season four finale.
Moreover, It was Will—who was lost in the Upside Down in season one and possessed by Vecna’s Mind Flayer in season two—who confirmed that the humanoid monster was still very much alive as he could feel him.
Bower said in an interview about how this connection may play out in the last season, “We all know by now that Vecna and Will have history. So it would be a joy to get back in there as I’ll gently put it.”
