Indian music producer Udyan Sagar best known as Nucleya took over the global electronic music world with his incredible musical creations. The Life and Journey of Nucleya
Born and brought up in Agra, Uttar Pradesh this 44-year-old musician took an interest in music from a very young age. Later on, Udyan turned his passion into a career back in 1998 after he co-founded Bandish Projekt with Mayur Narvekar and Mehirr Nath Chopra. It was a musical act that included a blend of Indian elements in an electronic format. However, 12 years later he has to take the harsh decision leaving the group to pursue his solo career with the stage name Nucleya.
The musician is immensely driven by South Indian music, Indian street music which is reflected in his numerous compositions.
Nucleya’s solo career took off in 2013 with the release of his first EP Koocha Monste. Later in 2015, he released his debut album, Bass Rani which has a unique introduction to listerna on the streets of Mumbai at a Ganpati visarjan. Simultaneously, he also released another album Raja Baja.
After years of hard work and experience, he finally got his breakthrough in 2019 with the release of the album “Tota Myna”.
In 2021, he collaborated with Ritviz for the EP titled Baaraat in collaboration also gained love from the listeners.
The musician’s other works include singles ‘Bacardi Drop’, ‘Tere Bina’, ‘Vajantri’ and also exceptional compositions in the films like Kapoor & Sons, Mukkabaaz, and Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai among others.
Adding to this success, he also collaborated with other notable names such as AIB and the Indian hip-hop reality show MTV Hustle where he serves as a judge.
Moreover, Nucleya also gained a huge international and domestic fan following with successful concerts at EDC Las Vegas and Mexico, the Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Sunburn Festival, Zomaland by Zomato, Vh1 Supersonic and YouTube Fanfest.
Thanks to his popularity the musician later performed with global sensations Skrillex, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and Krewella.
