Pete Davidson is in serious legal trouble. The comedian-actor is accused of reckless driving which leads to the crashing into Beverly Hills house. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Davidson with one misdemeanour count of reckless driving. The incident is connected to a March car crash where his car collided into a Beverly Hills, Calif home. On June 16, the District Attorney’s Office released an official statement against the comedian.

The office statement released by the District Attorney’s Office noted, “We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home. Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision.”
Moreover, it also said how “reckless driving can have devastating consequences.” It also addressed that the traffic related deaths in Los Angeles reached the highest level in 20 years.
“This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore,” the statement continues. “As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.”
As per the source of TMZ, at the time of the accident the comedian is with his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders. The incident took place on March 4th at the Flats neighbourhood of Beverly Hills. It’s on the same day the lovebirds got back from their Kauai vacation.
Lieutenant Coulter of the Beverly Hills Police Department said, “His car collided with a fire hydrant causing property damage. No one was injured, and no one was arrested.”
However, none of Davidson or Wonder’s team has responded to the incidents. The 29-year-old’s arraignment will reportedly take place on June 27.
It’s will be interesting to hear his defence.
