Netflix’s popular thriller-drama ‘Hasseen Dillruba’s sequel ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ is all set to hit the streaming platform. Starring Vikrant Messi and Tapsee Pannu the makers have officially unveiled the release date of this much-anticipated venture. Months ago the unforgettable love story achieved an incredible milestone of completing 3 years. The story written by Kanika Dhillon has received immense popularity among viewers.
The teaser of the romantic thriller first came out in February of this year. The first installment features a love triangle between Tapsee, Vikrant, and Harshvardhan. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will be released on August 9
On 25th July the makers shared the official trailer of the series. The trailer starts with Tapsee’s character Rani interrogated by a police officer and features a glimpse of the incidents of the previous incidents.
Initially in the trailer Rani and her husband Rushu seem to enjoy a hidden yet romantic life after they flee together killing Harshvardhan’s character and faking the death of Rushu. However, with the entry of a third person named Abhimanyu, the story hinted towards another love triangle. Exploring the themes of love, betrayal, jealousy, and thriller the second installment seems to be incredibly fascinating for the viewers.

Earlier this month as the first installment ‘Hasseen Dillruba’ completed three years the writer of this story Kanika Dhillon shared an appreciation post for Tapsee on her Instagram.
She wrote in the post while sharing a photo with the actress, “With my Haseen Dilruba- it’s been 3 Years of this roller coaster journey, Rani Kashyap- you have been a leading lady for me, not just with your immense talent – but gumption to stand with me against all odds in the endeavor to tell the most Haseen story !!”

Pannu was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘Dunki’, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani. Moreover, she will also be seen in Akshay Kumar’s multi-starr comedy-drama ‘Khel Khel Main’ which is going to release on August 15.
As for Vikrant, he gained immense appreciation for his last role in the biographical venture ‘12th Fail’. Apart from that, his drama thriller film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was also released on 2nd August.
