Post Malone is loving being a father. The rapper who is a father of a daughter revealed how fatherhood taught him to lead a healthy life. In a recent appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, he shared some rare insights. Moreover, he slammed the rumors of him using drugs.
Post Malone said he is the happiest he has ever been
The “Sunflower” singer said while he asked about his biggest fear of life, “I guess not being able to be there for my baby, which is a new fear. That’s why I tried to slow down on drinking, to take better care of my body.”
He also revealed he stopped drinking soda as well as his doctors said his “liver sucks.”
“I was like, ‘Alright, so how do we fix it?’ And so we’re fixing it,” he shared.
Moreover, he opened up about his drinking habits. As he said, “I used to drink because I was sad. Now I drink for shows and because I’m happy. It’s hard getting out there and I get so shy and timid and s**t, so I just drink a little bit too, I guess, cope with that and be able to get my liquid courage literally.”
Later on, he joked about “having money” as the best quality of him as a father and added his daughter’s first word would be “my credit card number.”
Post gushed, “Hey, look, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, So, you know, I’ll pay all the money in the world.”
Therefore, he said of his daughter, “I could tell her heart is so massive, I’ve always wanted kids and, like, a big family. And I could tell she was going to be a really good mama. And she’s like, no. 1 mom in the f**king universe.”
On top of that, he said of writing songs to his daughter, “A lot of songs I write for her, I don’t even play for her because I’m terribly shy.”
