Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opened up about the false narrative on their Royal exit in 2020. The couple was the talk of the town since their stepping out from the British royal family. However, they never cited the reason behind doing this. As per their interviews, it can presume it was due to the mental health of Markle. A spokesperson of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up the real reason for their exit while talking with E-news. Their new Netflix docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’ has received a lot of limelight since releasing on 8th November.

“The Duke and Duchess have never cited privacy as the reason for stepping back”- the spokesperson said.
Later on added, “This distorted narrative was intended to trap the couple into silence. In fact, their statement announcing their decision to step back mentions nothing of privacy and reiterates their desire to continue their roles and public duties. Any suggestion otherwise speaks to a key point of this series.”
The spokesperson also talked about the Sussex royal’s new Netflix docuseries. “They are choosing to share their story, on their terms, and yet the tabloid media has created an entirely untrue narrative that permeates press coverage and public opinion. The facts are right in front of them.”
The royal couple is currently living in Los Angeles and raising their two kids Archie Harrison,3, and Lilibet Diana,18 months.
However, in spite of several controversies, the couple always gets support from Harry’s late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen, later on, released a statement giving them her support. “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.”
