Prince Harry gave a sweet update on his and Meghan Markle’s kids Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana. On February 16, during an interview with Good Morning America the Duke of Sussex opened up about his family life. Prince Harry said the kids are doing great
The 39-year-old prince said at the show, “The kids are doing great, The kids are growing up like all kids do—very, very fast.”
“They both have got an incredible sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day like most kids do,” the dad of two continued. “I’m just very grateful to be a dad.”
Moreover, the Duchess who arrived late for the 2023 Invictus Games said, “I had to just spend a little bit more time getting our little ones settled home,” including “getting milkshakes and doing school drop off.”
The Sussexs stepped down from their duties as senior royals in 2020 and settled down with their family in Los Angeles.
Previously the Duke also addressed the challenges of parenthood like as the prince once said, raising his kids in a “fairer world, a safer world, a more equal world.”
“It’s not going to be easy,” the Duke of Sussex said. “but I will never, ever, ever rest until I have as a parent have tried to at least try to make the world a better place for them because it is our responsibility that the world is the way it is now.”
Apart from his kids the Prince also addressed the cancer diagnosis of his dad King Charles on the show.
The youngest son of the monarch and his late wife Lady Diana Spencer said, “I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
Harry also continues, “Throughout all these families I see it on a day-to-day basis the strength of the family unit coming together, I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.”
