The Baahubali actor recently unveiled the Telugu trailer of his upcoming much-anticipated series ‘Snakes and Ladders.’ The series which will stream on Amazon Prime Video strives to give the viewers a suspense-filled ride with some incredible dark humor. Known for his exceptional screen presence Daggubati’s presence in this genre is quite appreciated by his fans.
With Snakes & Ladders, Prime Video has had a lot of expectations since its release following the success of other Tamil hits like Suzhal – The Vortex and Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie. Without any further ado let’s check out some significant facts about this upcoming series.
Rana Daggubati’s ‘Snakes and Ladders’ is streaming from today
On October 17, a day ahead of its release Daggubati unveiled its Telugu trailer on social media with an interesting caption.
The caption reads, “DANGER awaits at every step. Ee Vaikuntapaali aata chudadaniki meeru siddhama?” (Are you ready to watch this Snakes & Ladders game?) (sic).”
Originally made in Tamil this nine-episode series will also be available in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, in order to reach the audience of all over India.
Talking about the plot of the series, it is spanned the period of the mid-2000s, when a group of school friends living to spiral into chaos comes across a mysterious dollar. Soon their journey quickly turned into a vicious game of survival, where with every scene there are some unpredictable twists and turns in the popular game of snakes and ladders.
Helmed by Ashok Veerappan, Bharath Muralidharan, and Kamala Alchemist, created by Kamala with Dhivakar Kamal, this series offers an insight into the world of a spine-chilling thriller.
Along with director and creator Kalyan Subramanian under the banner, A Stone Bench Production is backing the series and acclaimed filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj.
Apart from Rana the series also included a promising star cast featuring, Naveen Chandra, Nandha, Manoj Bharathiraja, Muthukumar, and Srinda.
The key highlight of the series lies in the uniqueness in emphasizing the interesting character dynamics and unimaginable turn of events.
Rana was last seen in the Tamil movie Vettaiyan which failed to impress the audience. Therefore, it’ll be a golden chance for the actor to prove his worth again in the game.
The series is currently streaming on Prime Video in over 240 countries.
