Another magnificent series has been added to the list. ‘Ranneeti Balakot and Beyond’ teaser is finally out now. The series which supposedly will release this year is based on an historical landmark India achieved on 26th February. Paying tribute to the unsung heros the teaser dropped on the fifth anniversary of Balakot airstrikes. This attack is considered India’s successful retaliation to Pulwama attack which took place on 14th February of 2019. The show’s power-packed action and extravagant storyline will take us on the journey of India’s defence mission to bring back Group Captain Abhinandan Varthaman. Directed by Santosh Singh, the much awaited action-thriller features prominent actors like Ashutosh Rana, Lara Dutta, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jimmy Shergill and Prasanna as leads.
As we can witness in the teaser the spine-chilling plotline will depict intricacies of the Balakot operation and the challenges they faced during the journey.

Actor Jimmy Shergill also commented on his role while celebrating the anniversary of the auspicious day. The actor said, “5 years ago, on 14th February, our brave hearts at Pulwama gave the supreme sacrifice on the line of duty. While we will never forget the sacrifice of our martyrs, we couldn’t stop beaming with pride when, for the first time, we watched our country fight back! The Balakot airstrike was a stern message that stemmed from the resilience and courage of our nation and armed forces.”
Later on, he continues, “India took a firm stand and this date will remain etched in the nation’s heart forever – India will never forget. Being a part of this series has only heightened my respect for the ‘jawans’ as I relived a defining moment in our country’s history.”
Meanwhile, former Miss Universe and actress Lara Dutta said of her character, “Coming from an armed forces background, I understand the bravery, sacrifice, and love for country first hand. The martyrs of Pulwama made the ultimate sacrifice five years ago, however, the Balakot air strike, filled us with national pride. On the anniversary of this historic defence operation, this sneak peek aims to honour every soldier, with or without uniform, who reshaped our nation’s defence narrative.”
However, the release date of Ranneeti Balakot and Beyond hasn’t been released; it will be streaming on Jio cinema this year.
