Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the daughter of notable actors of the Indian film industry late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh has shared the possibilities of her Bollywood debut. Riddhima has recently made her screen debut with the Netflix series Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives where she flaunts her life as a Delhi socialite. In a recent interview with India Today Sahni discusses her plans of entering the industry like her family. Interestingly she neither accepted nor denied her wish. Riddhima said she’s never uncomfortable in front of the camera
At the popular reality show, Riddhima’s mother Neetu, and brother actor Ranbir Kapoor noted that she should not be taken lightly. The jewelry designer herself noted she’d not entitled to enter showbiz despite the people’s expectations.
However, she noted her daughter Samara has great enthusiasm to be a part of the entertainment industry in the near future.
While Riddhima was asked about her plans to join the industry she noted, “I was never uncomfortable in front of the camera. Give me love, show me love, and then we will see.”
Whether or not she’ll make her appearance in the silver scene, Riddhima is already winning the hearts of people with her glamorous and bubbly nature in the show.
Married to her childhood sweetheart Bharat Sahni who made appearances on the show numerous times, her screen presence proved she’s carrying the heritage of the great Kapoor family.
The show also includes Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor), Bhavana Pandey (Wife of Chunky Pandey), Neelam Kothari, Seema Sajdeh (Ex-wife of Sohail Khan), Kalyani Saha Chawla, and Shalini Passi.
The plot of the show
The eight-episode show will showcase the lavish life of the seven fun loving and glamorous women of Delhi and Mumbai with a touch of rivalry as they navigate through their professional life and family.
The show has always been filled with some of the most notable names of Bollywood giving apparences. Despite getting negative reviews the show is on its 3rd season.
For this new season Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi, and Kalyani Saha Chawla join the original cast.
The third season of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives is currently streaming on Netflix from October 18.
