Riley Keough finally gets what she deserves. The actress who is the parents of Danny Keough and late singer Lisa Marie Presley officially became the owner of Graceland and the heir of her mother’s estate. Graceland is Keough’s grandfather Elvis Presley’s Tenn. home, which her mother inherited upon his death in 1977. A Los Angeles judge officially approved Keough who is Lisa Marie’s eldest child as the owner of her estate.
After Lisa Marie’s tragic death in January this year at the age of 54 Riley and her half-sisters Harper and Finley Lockwood as well as brother Benjamin Keough, who died at the age of 27 by suicide become the official heir to their late mother’s assets. However, Lisa Marie’s mother and Elvis’ ex-wife Priscilla Presley alleged there were “issues surrounding the authenticity and validity” of a 2016 amendment that made her grandchildren the heir. However, later she released a statement claiming to prioritize her family.
Riley Keough become the current owner of Elvis Presley’s Graceland
Riley is now the official owner of Elvis Presley’s iconic Graceland. Amid the feud regarding the estate Priscilla said in the statement of her late daughter, “I loved Elvis very much as he loved me. Lisa is a result of our love. For anyone to think anything differently would be a travesty of the family legacy and would be disrespectful of what Elvis left behind in his life.”
Later on, in May, Riley, her half-sisters Harper and Finley’s father and litem Michael Lockwood and Priscilla settled matters privately. Therefore, Daisy Jones & The Six Actresses become beneficiaries of Lisa Marie’s estate.
As per CNN, Priscilla’s attorney Ronson J. Shamoun shared with reporters outside the court hearing, “The families are happy. Everyone is happy, unified, together, and excited for the future.”
