Selena Gomez has once again become the most followed female on Instagram. The “Calm Down” came back to social media after 4 years of hiatus and taking another break from it. Moreover, she suppressed the record of Kylie Jenner who has 380 million followers, and become the most followed woman with 381 million followers. The singer-actress also reacted to achieving this major milestone.

After hitting this major milestone the 30-year-old said, “I’m very happy, I’m so blessed. I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world. I just couldn’t be happier.”
“My Mind & Me” singer has previously been subjected to lots of trolling because of her weight gain. She later revealed on TikTok that it was because of her medication. The Only Murders in the Building actress has been dealing with lupus and even underwent a kidney transplant. Moreover, she also struggled with bipolar disorder. However, she assured her fans that she will come back sooner. As she said, “I will see you guys sooner than later. I’m just gonna take a break from everything.”
Gomez also shared the message of self-love in her video. She said, “I just want people to know that you’re beautiful and you’re wonderful. And yeah, we have days where maybe we feel like s–t but I would much rather be healthy and take care of myself.”
She also added, “My medications are important and I believe they are what helps me. So, yeah, not a model, never will be. And I think they’re awesome, mind you, I just, I’m definitely not that.”
Previously, Jenner suppressed her and become the most followed woman in January 2022. Jenner is accused by a TikTok user of throwing shade at Selena’s eyebrows. Later, the 25-year-old denied the claim and wrote, “u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly.” Moreover, Gomez also support her and wrote, “Agreed @kyliejenner It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”
