Shaquille O’Neal opened up on his failed marriage with ex-wife Shaunie Henderson. The NBA star admitted his infidelity and regretted the choices he made. The couple shared five children together, Myles, 25, Shareef, 22, Amirah, 21, Shaqir, 19, and Me’arah, 16. He also has the eldest daughter with ex Arnetta Yardbourgh named Taahirah, 26 On December 1, talking with E-news he unveiled a lot of facts about his personal life.
Shaquille O’Neal thinks he didn’t do the right thing in life
While talking with E-news the NBA star said, “You don’t know how good you got something till it’s gone. I mentioned about having a 76,000-square-foot house and nobody in there. That was all my fault.”
The basketball player, later on, added, “I didn’t do the right thing and I definitely paid for it.”
O’Neal previously confessed his infidelity while married to his former wife in his memoir Shaq Uncut: My Story. However, the former couple seems to be on good terms as earlier this year Shaunie gave him an invitation to her nuptials with husband Keion Henderson. However, he didn’t come.
However, currently, Shaq is happy with life. Talking about his kids the 50-year-old said, “I try to spoil them, but not really, I’ve been blessed. I have wonderful children. They listen, they have wonderful mothers, so whatever they need, I take care of it.”
On April 19 of this year the player also previously talked about his 2011 divorce in the talk show the Pivot. “Sometimes when you live that double life, you get caught up. I’m not going to say it was her. She did exactly what she was supposed to do and gave me beautiful kids, take care of the house, take care of the corporate stuff. It was just all me.”
