Shaun White detailed the secret behind his and giancée Nina Dobrev’s successful relationship.
Nearly two weeks after the Olympic gold medalist got engaged to the Vampire Diaries star, shared some insight on their relationship philosophy. On November 14, Shaun shared a heartwarming post on Instagram dedicated to his ladylove where he also addressed the struggles they have gone through in their five years of dating and how they’ve overcome them throughout their years together.

The 38-year-old shared a video from the proposal day in a romantic atmosphere at The Golden Swan restaurant in New York City filled with a long heart-touching caption for his future wife.
He wrote, “I’m beside myself to be with this amazing woman and to be joining her beautiful family. Our quarantine romance turned into this beautiful relationship and now a forever love. Believe me when I say that this app mostly shows us at our best.”
White continued, “Behind the curtain, like any relationship, we’ve had our struggles, But it’s our ability to communicate and repair that keeps us moving forward together. I’m so thankful for the life lessons, gratitude, adventure, and love that Nina has taught me, and I only wish to show her the same in return.”
In the small video clip, the place was covered with beautiful white flowers and glowing candles. In fact, Shaun didn’t forget to add their loved ones who rushed to the room after the romantic proposal ended to gush over Nina’s dazzling ring.
The newly engaged couple first shared this amazing news on Instagram last month, writing, “She said yes.” Meanwhile, Nina penned in her post, “RIP Boyfriend, hello fiancé.”
Sharing the insight into Shaun’s preparation Nina told Vogue last month that he made a fake invitation for an intimate dinner with Vogue’s Anna Wintour at this place to give her a surprise.
The 35-year-old actress said, “He made the invite look so legitimate, I was in a panic that Anna’s waiting for me.”
