Get to see the biggest crossover of 2024! Rohit Shetty and the team are back in the game with Singham Again. This much-anticipated action-drama will show the crossover of the all-mighty cops from Shetty’s universe including Bajirao Singham, Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao, and Veer Sooryavanshi. Additionally this time the movie also marks the entry of Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff for the first time in a police officer role as Lady Singham aka Shakti Shetty and ACP Satya as well as Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist Danger Lanka. The details of the Singham Again trailer
The trailer begins with Kareena Kapoor as Avni Kamat, the wife of Bajirao Singham narrating Ramayana to her son, noting how Ram traveled 3000 km to Sri Lanka to rescue his wife Sita. Her son doubts if his father could ever do this for his father. In response Ajay Devgn as the iconic Singham quips, “Google pe Bajirao Singham type kar le, pata chal jayega tera baap kaun hai (Please type Bajirao Singham on Google. You will have an assumption about your father.)
The scene shifts to the recreation of the epic when Avni gets abducted by vicious antagonist Danger Lanka played by Arjun Kapoor.
Afterward, Bajirao was seen to go any level until he saved his wife from the evils. Later it led to the creation of the big army of Singham – Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh), Veer Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar), Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone) and Tiger Shroff.
Talking about the new addition, Deepika is seen to follow the same humor and energy like her husband Ranveer’s role as Simmba, while Tiger is seen as a loyal and devoted character.
The trailer incredibly depicts the signature trait of the Rohit Shetty directorial which is the spirit of Maratha prowess and valour.
The first instalment of Singham came back in 2011 starring Kajal Agarwal and Prakash Raj opposite Ajay Devgan. However, in the sequel in 2014, the female lead changed as Kareena took over.
Following the success of these two ventures, Rohit introduced two other cops in the universe Simmba in 2018 and Sooryavanshi in 2021.
All of these movies became breakthroughs in the box-office. Therefore, it isn’t hard to assume the expectations of the fans are quite high.
