Sophia Bush and Grant Hughes are putting an end to their marriage after just 13 months. As per the sources, shortly after celebrating their first marriage anniversary, Bush filed for divorce. However, the actress’s rep hasn’t opened up about her divorce. Before tying the knot in June 2022 the couple were friends for almost ten years. Moreover, they established a strong bond during quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. People first broke the news of their separation.

The shocking news of their separation was first announced by the People. Needless to say, the news is indeed surprising as they recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
The 41-year-old actress even shared a loving post on the auspicious day.
She wrote in her Instagram along with a photo from her and Hughes’ wedding, “Today marks 365 days of calling you ‘husband. Best decision of my life. It still feels just like this. Ecstatic. Running toward the future, grinning and laughing, together. I love you, my favorite. Happy Anniversary.”
Meanwhile, Hughes, who is an entrepreneur, also wrote on his Instagram”Happy 1st Anniversary, my love! What a full, beautiful, dynamic, exciting, growth-filled year we’ve had together. I truly love doing life with you!”
The couple who tied the knot last year announced the news of their engagement in June 2021. The actress announced the news writing, “So, it turns out that being your favorite person’s favorite person is the actual best feeling on planet Earth, #YES.”
Previously, Sophia recalled to Vogue one month after her wedding, “Imagine what we could do if we turned out wedding into an event to showcase Tulsa,” “The cultural renaissance happening there. Tech. Philanthropy. Civil rights justice. The art. The leadership. We could focus all of this attention and turn the spotlight on them.”
