Sourav Ganguly Health Updates: Sourav Ganguly may get discharged from hospital tomorrow, decision on angioplasty soon

The meeting of the Medical Board of the Woodlands Hospital, treating BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, took place on Monday morning. After this meeting, a big update has been revealed regarding Ganguly’s second angioplasty. Ganguly, who was hospitalized on Saturday, can be discharged tomorrow i.e. January 5. At the same time, the date of his angioplasty is not decided yet. On Saturday, Ganguly was admitted to the Woodslands Hospital in Kolkata after a mild heart attack. Shortly after being admitted, he underwent angioplasty. Also, it was told that Ganguly had a triple vessel disease due to which he has to undergo another angioplasty.

Meanwhile, many leaders have reached the hospital to meet Ganguly.

Decision will be made after the arrival of Heart Specialist Doctor Setty

It was told at the press conference that a meeting of the no-member medical board took place. Heart Specialists Devi Setty and Ramkant Panda from Delhi participated in this meeting through video conferencing. Sourav Ganguly is yet to undergo two endioplasties but it will not take place at the moment. Doctors are constantly monitoring Sourav Ganguly. On Tuesday, January 5, Devi Setty will come to Kolkata and the medical team will meet again. Ganguly can be discharged from the hospital after the meeting. The situation regarding angioplasty is not clear yet but it can be avoided for a few days or next week. Ganguly will then stay at his house. The medical board of the hospital is seeking advice from veteran doctors for further treatment of Ganguly. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh underwent surgery 10 years ago by Ramakant Panda, a cardiovascular thoracic surgeon in Mumbai. Donna Ganguly and Snehasish Ganguly were also present on the medical board.

Anurag Thakur met Ganguly

Former BCCI president and BJP leader Anurag Thakur met him on Monday. After the meeting, Anurag Thakur said, ‘Sourav Ganguly is the hero not only of Bengal but of all India. He has defeated many opponents in the cricket field and has always won. When I met him, he had a smile on his face. Bengal and Indians are also healthy due to their blessings. I have known Sourav for 20 years. They have seen many ups and downs. He will soon recover from illness and serve the country. ‘

Blessings of fans continue

Meanwhile, the fans gathered near the hospital carrying the poster of Ganguly. On those posters it was written, ‘Dada come back’. Sourav Ganguly’s corona test was also done in the hospital on Saturday late night, the report of which came negative. On Sunday, PM Modi himself also spoke to Sourav Ganguly and asked him how well. PM Modi also spoke to Donna Ganguly, wife of this former cricketer. Modi also wished Ganguly to get well soon.
