In this dark action-thriller movie you will see Statham play “H”, a mysterious loner who works at a security firm.

Statham and the British Director Ritchie will be reunited again in this movie after almost 15 years.

The security firm in which “H” works, has armoured vehicles that transport valuables. And recently the business has been the target of deadly armed robberies.

When the attacks don’t stop, you will get to know that “H” is not after a steady paycheck. Rather he is a skilled marksman who is seeking revenge for a personal tragedy.

It was in 1998, that Statham started working as a model when Ritchie first cast him.

The movie “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, helped him launch his film career.

Then in 2000, the two artists came together, in the film “Snatch” and reunited again in 2005 for their last joint project “Revolver”.

And now after 15 years, nothing has changed between the two friends, Statham said.

Statham told, “The only difference is we’re a little older and a little chubbier…He called me up about this idea that he had. It was a very short pitch and I liked the premise. And I was quick to say ‘yes’ “.

Further, Ritchie added- “I thought this would be the perfect story for Jason and I to be reunited on. It’s not funny, this film. It’s serious and the theme is serious and it’s very violent, very aggressive. But I thought it’d be the perfect role for Jason to occupy.”

The movie is based on the 2004 French thriller “LeConvoyeur”. You will also see Josh Hartnett, Scott Eastwood, Andy Garcia, Eddie Marsan and Holt McCallany in the film.

U.S. rapper Post Malone is also hired for a surprise cameo in the movie.

Hartnett is a former Hollywood heartthrob who gave many superhits in the early 2000s, such as “Pearl Harbour”, “Black Hawk Down” and “Lucky Number Slevin”.

He said that he had been busy with other projects in recent years.

“I’ve always been sort of making really interesting films, It’s just suddenly Hollywood is taking notice again and I’m getting offers for bigger films,” he said.

He added- “It goes in waves. Hollywood’s a weird place and I love it and hate it.”

“Wrath of Man” opens in U.S. cinemas on May 7.
