Stephen shared a message from son-in-law Justin’s mother Pattie Mallette on the platform. On August 23, Justin and Hailey announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber. The actor shared a post of Justin’s mother’s mother Pattie Mallette, which reads, “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK,” he captioned this tweet, “Amen. Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”
Along with the Rhode beauty founder, Stephen is also a father to 31-year-old Alaia Baldwin. Needless to say, it’s an incredible moment for the Bieber-Baldwin family.
The baby’s arrival comes three months after the couple unveiled the pregnancy via a romantic video in Hawaii where the duo renewed their wedding vows.
In an interview published July 23 with W Magazine the new mommy revealed what it is like for her to hide her pregnancy for six long months.
“In the beginning, it was super emotional for me,” the 27-year-old revealed. “Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’ I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.”
Later on, she revealed the reason for keeping the new under wraps was easy as she “stayed small for a long time. I probably could have hid it until the end, but I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
The beauty mogul and the “Peaches” singer’s baby boy’s name seems to be a tribute to the singer’s father Jeremy Jack Bieber.
Justin first announced the news of the baby’s arrival on Aug. 23 with a photo of Hailey’s finger around the newborn’s little feet, which he captioned, “WELCOME HOME.”
Hailey also joined her husband in the celebration by posting the picture in her Instagram story.
