Karan Johar announced that Student Of The Year 3 will return as a web series. Johar attended the Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) held in Chandigarh as he unveiled his plans to extend the hit franchise in a different form. Although the previous two parts of the films were released in theatres the first part starred Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan while the second part shows Annaya Pandey, Tara Sutaria, and Tiger Shroff as leads. Karan Johar said she will enter Reema Maya’s world
During his interaction at CIFF, Karan Johar shared insights into his creative ventures and revealed his planning to collaborate with fresh talents in the industry. Moreover, this leads to the revelation of collaborating with director Reema Maya.
Notably, along with Reema Johar wished to cast fresh faces into Bollywood stardom. However, he explained that the digital adaptation would reflect Reema Maya’s distinct artistic vision rather than his own perception.
He explained, “But it will be her way and definitely not mine because if I’ll enter Reema Maya’s world, then I will make it more of an illusion, which is what her name means. I just wanted it to be her voice. She made it her own series.”
If you’re wondering who Reema Maya is, she is an award-winning director who gained recognition for her inclusive storytelling and creative filmmaking techniques. As for her works, short films like Counterfeit Kunkoo, which gained numerous accolades at prestigious film festivals such as Sundance and also Nocturnal Burger, which premiered at the prominent Sundance Film Festival in 2023.
Moving towards Karan’s personal life he recently takes a dig at the haters for claiming he went through plastic surgeries to look young.
