Suki Waterhouse opened up about the time she first met fiancé Robert Pattinson. The couple who welcomed their first baby, a daughter, in March, met six years ago at a game night in L.A. In a recent interview with British Vogue, the model-turned-singer unveiled a lot of facts about her life. The magazine cover also features Suki’s first picture with her daughter. Suki Waterhouse said her first meeting with Robert Pattinson was very intense
“I was sure that I’d met him a long time ago,” Waterhouse told the outlet, noting, “But he didn’t think that we had.”
Moreover, the Daisy Jones and the Six star said of their first encounter, “It was very, very intense. Everyone was really acting.”
The 34-year-old also shared, “I think we both sort of have the same slight uncomfortable-ness,” sharing that they “starting giggling at the absurdity of the whole thing.”
“I thought Rob’s quite funny,” the musician said of her partner. “I light up when I’m around him.”
The couple are now in the new phase of their life. Although as per Suki the Twilight alum “was really nervous” about fatherhood, she revealed. “But for someone who’s quite an anxious person, he’s been very calm.”
On the contrary, she said he is “the dad I could have hoped for,” Waterhouse gushed. “I mean a dad and his daughter? It’s an actual love story.”
Waterhouse first announced the birth of their baby via an Instagram post where the English model and musician captioned the photo, “Welcome to the world angel ❤️.”
Suki later also shared the gender of her baby during her concert at Coachella in April which took place in the California desert.
“I don’t know if some of you know, but I had some big life changes happen recently, some pretty big events have been going down,” she said referring to the birth of her and Pattison’s child. “I love amazing ladies and I’ve been very lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life.”
Recently Pattison shared her experience of fatherhood during his June 21 appearance at the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 show. He noted, “It makes you feel very old and very young at the same time.”
“She’s so cute,” Pattinson also gushed of his baby girl with a smile. “I’m amazed by how quickly their personality comes out. Even at 3 months, I’m like, ‘Oh. yeah, I can kind of see who she is already.’ It’s amazing. It’s great.”
