Dharma’s upcoming much-anticipated film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari welcomes a new cast. Even since the announcement earlier this year, fans are eagerly waiting to get more updates on the storyline and the complete cast of the movie. Finally, the wait is over as apart from Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor two new promising actors are making their entry in the movie which is none other than Dangal star Sanya Malhotra and Mismatch fame Rohit Saraf. The film which is helmed by Shashank Khaitan will storm into the theatres on April 18, 2025. Let’s dig into the complete details of this segment.
A source discloses Rohit and Sanya will have a fantastic equation with Varun and Janhvi onscreen
The news first broke out in April when a source revealed to Pinkvilla that Rohit and Sanya would soon join the cast.
The sources said at that time, “It’s a pure family entertainer with romance in its backdrop, much like the kind of films that Shashank has made over the years. The premise of SSKTK is very close to the kind of films that Dharma is known for, as it celebrates love with color, music, scale, and a strong star cast. Joining Varun and Janhvi are Sanya and Rohit.”
Varun Dhawan officially introduced Rohit and Sanya
Sunny Sanskari aka Varun posted a workout video of his co-stars on September 2 to officially announce their entry. In the clip, Rohit and Sanya are working out on a treadmill while the latter is also seen with abs in progress. Therefore, it’ll probably be a hint of coming in a new avatar.
Apart from the pair, actor-comedian Maniesh Paul also joined the cast recently. Varun shared a picture to confirm his entry in the set marking a reunion after Jugjugg Jeeyo. The ‘Bhediya’ star shared a video of the actor and also reshared a selfie which he had posted in his story.

The upcoming venture is a part of Dharma’s Dulhania sequence which comes after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. This heartwarming romantic comedy strives to give the same excellent experience as its previous parts. The film which went on floor from May 4 will also mark the absence of the hit pair of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the franchise.
Alia surprisingly got replaced by Janhvi after being part of the last two successful installments. Although her exit is quite hard to digest, fans are still optimistic about Janhvi and Varun’s pair who are coming on screen together after the 2023 film Bawaal.
