Taika Waititi strikes gold again with his much-awaited Marvel cinematic Universe film for the year, Thor: Love and thunder, starring Chris Hemsworth as the dynamic Norse god, Thor Odinson. The Movie also includes other sea of starts like Natalie Portman, Tessa Thomson and Christian Bale. Thor Love and thunder is like a breath of fresh air along with his brand of humour spread throughout the film. The film is a perfect combination of sweetness and melancholy along with a pinch of absurd humour. The most exciting part of the film, is the comeback of Natalie Portman, who plays Thor’s love interest, Jane Foster who was last seen in Avengers Endgame. The fans are absolutely loving the new Avatar of Jane as she has completely transformed into the Mighty Thor, by wielding Mjolnir (the famous hammer) the return of Jane Foster provides an opportunity to Thor to rediscover himself and re Kindle the flames of his love and embark upon a journey to find himself for the greater good. the Chemistry between Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth is purely magical and their romance makes the audience swoon. The film also features the much-awaited debut of Prominent actor, Christian bale in the MCU as the ultimate super villain Gore, the God killer. Thor love and thunder provides an ultimate in-house action and audience love to see the OG team coming together comprising of Valkyrie, and Krug and Jane coming together.

The film collected a whopping 24 crore, on day one of the box office collection. According to the critics the response towards the film has been quite overwhelming, but not so much compared to the previous MCU movie, Doctor strange multiverse of the madness which had an overall collection of 30 crore on day one.

Nonetheless, considering the fact that the movie was released on a week day it has been doing tremendously well. Critics Consensus says that the overall cinematography replicates the essence of the previous Thor Movie, Thor Ragnarök and the repetition of the similar content gives the audience a feeling of Deja Vu and appears to be monotonous and lacks an element of surprise. Overall Thor: love and Thunder is perfect balance of funny, witty and action-packed movie and is a must watch for all the Marvel fans.
