Megha Thakur, the famous social media icon with nearly a million TikTok followers died unexpectedly at the age of 21 on Thanksgiving. The cause of death of the 21-year-old social media star is yet to be revealed by her parents.

Meghan’s parents shared the shocking news to the world via her Instagram page quoting, ‘It is with heavy hearts we announce the light of our life, our kind, caring, and beautiful daughter, Megha Thakur, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on November 24, 2022, in the early morning hours,” the post read. “Megha was a confident and independent young woman.”
The late TikToker’s Parents continued the message of how she would be ‘dearly missed’ by reminiscing on her Social Media career which includes over 105,000 followers on Instagram and over 940,000 followers on TikTok.
The saddened parents of Megha later added the heartbeat message referring to her fans saying, “She loved her fans and would have wanted you to know of her passing. At this time, we request your blessings for Megha. Your thoughts and prayers will be with her in her onward journey.”
After the news came out on the Internet, many fans and users of Megha shared their deep condolences in the comments section of the post and shared their moments and how Megha’s content made them happy.
One user wrote, “She showed us all how freeing and beautiful it is to be unapologetically yourself. I’m very sad that she is physically no longer here. But what she stood for, the confidence she exuded and instilled in her audience is a legacy that will live on forever.”
