Will Smith is the second highest earning actor who made $35 million for his upcoming film, Emancipation. Other actors on the list are Brad Pitt, Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joaquin Phoenix, and more.
Tom Cruise, who is also the producer of Top Gun, is expected to make more than $100 million from the box office and his cut from streaming revenues. Top Gun: Maverick was released in May and made a whopping $1.2 billion at the box office worldwide. It is now the first Tom Cruise movie to pass the billion-dollar mark at the box office.

On Wednesday, the magazine Variety reported that Cruise gets box office bonuses before the studio even breaks even. Dwayne Johnson earned $22.5 million for his next film, Black Adam. The report further said that the salaries of the stars are justified. A film executive said, “I would never bet against Tom Cruise. Most actors aren’t worth what you pay them, but Cruise and maybe Dwayne Johnson justify their salaries”.

Other high-paid actors include Leonardo DiCaprio, who made $30 million for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film Killers of The Flower Moon Brad Pitt made $30 million for an upcoming untitled Formula 1 drama. Chris Hemsworth for Extraction 2, Denzel Washington for Equalizer 3, Vin Diesel for Fast X, Joaquin Phoenix for Joker 2, Tom Hardy for Venom 3, Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds for Spirited all earned $20 million for their respective films. Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie made $12.5 million each for the upcoming movie, Barbie.
