Things might annoy you, no doubt. But there is a possibility that almost 90% of the time, each and every thing and every human being on this planet might annoy you too. This annoyance could soon turn into anger outbursts and you will end up having anger issues for your life! Scary, isn’t it? But there is more to it!
Anger can exhaust you of your precious energy. It can cause ailments like headache, digestion problems, abdominal pain, insomnia, increased anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, skin problems, stress and tension, heart attack or even stroke and kidney diseases!
So how to stop getting angry?
It might sound absurd but, there is a whole lot you can do when you feel annoyed in order to stop being so angry over the fact that Jack ate your share of chocolate cake! I’m back with a List!
Here is a list of things you could do to sway your attention onto some bigger, spiritual tasks of life than anger:
- Ignorance: When something or someone disturbs the hell out of you, it’s a signal from god that you should invest in learning the art of ignorance. Yes, it helps a lot (personally verified). Just ignore your attention to something or someone you love rather than something or someone you hate.
- Laugh hysterically: I know it sounds impossible, but try to remember the jokes or any funny moment from your past experiences and there ya go!
- Chug in a lot of water: Drink a glass or 2 (or 3 or 4 maybe) of water, that also subsides anger.
- Sit in darkness, alone: It is peaceful to slid into your world of imagination when there are chances that you’re about to get angry over something. Try imagining scenarios inside your head, try daydreaming even. It helps!
- Focus on a Hobby: Turn on the volume, loud enough to drive into the music and let your body shake on the beats if you love dance or music. You can try to read a book, watch a series, talk to a friend, work on your assignment, solve a math problem (stunts performed by professionals, I must warn you!).
There are so many things and so many people waiting for your attention, don’t waste it on some unnecessary situation, thing or a person. Try to keep a positive outlook on life and you’re good to go!
