Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s love story is right on the track. As per Entertainment Tonight the close sources of the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s family have never seen them happier. The pair who has been dating since late July of last year was spotted in multiple outings and Swift even became an active supporter at Kelce’s recent matches.
Prior to the footballer the singer had a seven-year-long relationship with English actor Joe Alwyn, Meanwhile, Kelce previously dated his co-winner of a dating show Maya Benberry and later dated social media influencer, Kayla Nicole.
Travis and Taylor are closer than ever before
According to the source of the entertainment portal, Swift and Kelce are, “closer than ever before and everyone around them can see that they’re an amazing match.”
“They love being together no matter what they’re doing and appreciate the little things in life. They try to lead as normal lives as possible as a couple and are enjoying the upswing and growth in their relationship. They believe that timing is everything and that this is their time,” the source revealed.
Moreover, the source added, “ Their families are both on board and everyone on Travis’ side loves Taylor and vice versa. It’s a supportive dynamic all around. Their loved ones have never seen either of them so happy and hope and believe that it will continue.”
No wonder they are a match made in heaven since the duo has been spotted spending a lot of time in each other’s company. After they started dating the Grammy winner has attended nine of Travis’ Chiefs games. Moreover, fate seems to go in his favour as Kelce’s team Missouri has won six of them.
However, one source disclosed the singer might not attend the January 7 game of the footballer since she is rumored to be gracing the Golden Globes Sunday evening.
The source disclosed, “Travis is not expected to attend the Golden Globes due to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the L.A. Chargers game on Sunday.”
Taylor is nominated Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category in the Golden Globes
The 34-year-old has been nominated in the newly designated Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category in the award show for her concert film The Eras Tour. The nominations aren’t surprising since the shot version of her famous tour which was released in October has been more than $250. Moreover, the film gets the honor to be nominated alongside 2023 box office giants including Barbie, Oppenheimer and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
Therefore, during Travis and brother Jason Kelce’s most recent episode of their New Heights podcast the footballer opened up about his “fun” New Year’s Eve with his close people including Swift. The Chiefs player welcomed 2024 with a glorious victory over the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium.
The 34-year-old said to his brother, “ It was fun, and then we all got to celebrate New Year’s together.”
On top of that, he said, “It was cool, man, to have all the friends and family. I think I had over 50 to 55 people come in for this one. Yeah, a good New Year’s celebration with all the friends and fam.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end adds, “And I got to exchange presents with Mama Kelc.”
This isn’t the first time Travis opened up about her romance in an interview for the cover of WSJ. Magazine’s December/January issue, the NFL superstar revealed, “There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I had somebody playing Cupid.”
“She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out,” he revealed.
Moreover, it’s Swift’s family who helped him get her attention as he said, “She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but…when she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures…in front of my locker.”
Therefore, talking about their first meeting Kelce said, “When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there.”
Needless to say, the duo is quite serious about each other.
Meanwhile, digital creator Lyric Sheree who attended Travis and Taylor’s party shared her experience with Entertainment Tonight. She said, “I view them as a fresh couple. So, it always gives good vibes when you’re starting out to date, and they look very happy. Taylor looked super happy. I didn’t feel any type of bad chemistry between those two. I feel like they’re a really cute couple, and they have good energy together.”
