Travis Kelce finally addresses the speculations of his and girlfriend Taylor Swift’s engagement. On February 5 during Super Bowl LVIII Media Day at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas when a reporter straight-up asked him if he had popped the question to the Grammy winner he had the most cheeky response to give. Let’s check out what response he had given.
Travis Kelce is only focused on getting the Superbowl ring
The 34-year-old was asked by a reporter if there is going to be “another ring beside the Super Bowl ring if you win this thing on Sunday,” which implements celebrating his third Super Bowl win with an engagement ring for his superstar girlfriend.
Kelce responded to the question saying, “I’m focused on getting this ring and that’s all my mind’s focused on right now.”
The two-time Super Bowl champion will lead the Chiefs on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Apart from the engagement, the tight end was also asked about Swift making GRAMMY history as she became the first artist ever to win Album of the Year a fourth time. Although he wasn’t there by her side due to practice he hasn’t the sweetest response to his lady-love’s achievement.
“She’s unbelievable. She’s re-writing the history books herself,” Kelce said. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware, too.”
The Grammy night undoubtedly became one of the most memorable nights in Swift’s career as she also announced her 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department which will drop on April 19 of this year. Travis was also asked if he had listed any songs from this upcoming album.
“I have heard some of it, yes, and it’s unbelievable. I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops,” Kelce said before adding that he would abide by the secrecy. “I can’t give you anything. I leave that up to her.”
Prior to this event, a close friend of the couple also told Entertainment Tonight, “Travis has never felt more supported by a significant other ever. This is just the beginning for them as a couple and many milestones are coming their way. Taylor and Travis make time for each other because they want to.”
The couple has been each other’s biggest cheerleaders after going public with their romance which began in September of last year.
