More details about the movie UI
Looking at the plot of the movie like the actor’s previous movies which often explore deep social issues and challenge this movie will also make the audiences think beyond entertainment. UI delve deep into the pattern of social issues. With this venture Upendra seems to blend his cinematic style with themes drawn from his political ideology called Prajakiya.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on December 20, 2024, days before Christmas, was initially planned to release in only Kannada which later shifted into four other languages eventually releasing in five major languages: Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
While announcing the release date of the movie Upendra shared the movie’s poster with a cryptic note for fans which noted: “All these days you watched the movies and decided whether it’s a hit or a flop. This movie will watch you and…(sic).”
The excitement about UI grew immensely after the actor addressed the speculation about whether the film connects to the mythological figure Kalki, which is the tenth and last avatar of Lord Visnu.
Contrasting with Deepika-Prabhas’s new release Kalki 2898 AD, he explained it offers a more traditional portrayal while his film would take a more logical and psychological approach.
Due to this difference, the film is apparently going to blend this legendary myth with modern-day complications.
Starring Reeshma Nanaiah as the female lead, the ensemble supporting cast extends to the industry veterans Murali Sharma, P Ravi Shankar, and Nidhi Subbaiah.
On the other hand, the crew features art director Shiva Kumar, notable for his work on KGF, and music composer Ajaneesh Loknath. Moreover, HC Venugopal is going to take after the cinematography and the film is jointly backed by KP Sreekanth and G Manoharan.
