Vanessa Hudgens is sharing her thoughts on her ex-boyfriend Austin Butler’s puzzling British accent. The actor portrayed legendary singer Elvis Presley in the 2022 biopic Elvis. On Jan. 19 Hudgens reacted on an Instagram slideshow that makes fun of Austin’s voice has appeared to change.

On Jan. 19 the 34-year-old reacted on an Instagram slideshow that makes fun of Austin’s voice has appeared to change. The actress wrote, “Crying” at the moment section. Hudgens and Austin started their relationship in 2011. However, their relationship lasted for eight years.
Butler is in lots of limelight after winning Best Actor in a Drama a the 80th annual Golden Globes. His Elvis-like accent grabs the attention of the netizens after his win. Celebrities like, Meena Harris, tweeted, “Has he been sounding like Elvis this whole time????”
The 31-year-old also reflected on his similarity with the king of rock-&-roll. He said, “I don’t think I sound like him still, but I guess I must because I hear it a lot. I had three years where that was my only focus. So, I’m sure there’s pieces of him in my DNA and I’ll always be linked.”
Moreover, Austin’s voice coach for Elvis Irene Bartlett, also recently came to his defense on ABC’s Gold Coast on January 16. She said, “What you saw in that Golden Globes speech, that’s him. It’s genuine, it’s not put on.”
She also said, “He was never going to be — and [director] Baz Luhrmann didn’t want him to be — an Elvis impersonator, that’s the last thing they wanted him to be.
