If you like travelling, then volcanoes are something that you must visit, at least once in your lifetime. Volcanoes are literally one of the most mystical and fascinating creations of nature.

Nowadays, volcanic attractions have been drawing a lot of adventure enthusiasts where they can hike, climb and hike in the nearby areas.

Latacunga, Ecuador

Ecuador is a beautiful plateau town located in Latacunga. The place features a launchpad for visiting the nearby Cotopaxi – an active volcano.

The conical-shaped volcano is surrounded by snowy peaks and consists of a deep green crater lake.

Tanna Island Volcano, Vanuatu

This volcano is situated in Vanuatu which is known for being home to the world’s most accessible volcano. It is possible for one to reach the place in less than 10 minutes.

People from across the globe visit Tanna Island to witness violent bursts of red and orange lava.

Stromboli, Italy

Stromboli is one of the most active volcanoes present on this Earth that has been erupting in Sicily since 1932.

About thousands of tourists like to visit this place and witness jets of lava which is an exhilarating experience. And since the lava eruptions are visible from far away at night it is known as the lighthouse of the Mediterranean.

 

Mount Teide, Canary Islands, Spain

It is an active volcano found on the Canarian Island of Tenerife.

Mount Teide was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007 for its unique biodiversity. Apart from that Mount Teide is also Spain’s highest peak.

Mount Mayon, Legazpi Volcano, Philippines

 Mount Mayon is an active stratovolcano. It is flawlessly symmetrical and the most perfect volcano in the world.

It was named after the legendary princess heroine Daragang Magayon. Moreover, it was declared a national park in 1938.
