Justin Baldoni on It Ends With Us Sequel
Baldoni explained to a TV insider, “I haven’t. I have no idea what that story would be. I’m somebody who’s just doing my best to stay in the present and stay in the here and in the now and not think too far ahead.”
He continues, “I’m just kind of doing my best to take this all in because it’s been five years to even get us here. So I can’t even fathom another story yet.”
Although he was uncertain about his part in the sequel he revealed to Entertainment Tonight that there are better people to take on the next instalment.
The actor-director whose rumored rift with the cast is quite noticeable during the premiere of the movie, said, “I think that there are better people for that one. I think Blake Lively’s ready to direct, that’s what I think.”
Colleen Hoover on the sequel

However, she admitted to Entertainment Tonight, “I’m gonna be honest that ending scene just leaves you kind of wanting more Lily and Atlas for sure.”
The climax of It Ends With Us
The climax of It Ends With Us leaves the audience kind of in a cliffhanger as the ending of the novel and film is quite different.
At the end of the novel, Lily reunites with Atlas after dropping her daughter off to her father Ryle, with whom she got divorced.
Lily told Atlas that her daughter’s middle name is “Dory,” in honor of their favorite characters from Finding Nemo. She told him to be ready to be loved again as he kissed her tattoo while telling her, “You can stop swimming now, Lily. We finally reached the shore.”
However, in the movie, the duo did come across each other but it ends after they tell each other to be single.
