‘White Lotus’ Season 3 is getting a step closer to its release. Max dropped a short teaser for the upcoming third season of the hit series. On August 5, the streaming platform revealed a small yet enchanting depiction of the anticipation in store for the upcoming season. Set in Thailand the series welcomed newcomers Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola for the third season. On the other hand, Natasha Rothwell, the star of the previous seasons is going to reappear in the third season as well. Let’s check out some key details of the brief teaser.
‘White Lotus’ Season 3 Teaser Gives a Short Glimpse of The Series
On August 5, the online streaming platform shared a short clip of the upcoming series in which a voice can be heard announcing, “What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand.”
The post of the clip captioned, “New luxuries await you in Thailand.”
The third season will also introduce a star-studded cast featuring Leslie Bibb, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
On top of that, newcomers Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola will enter the world of this comedy-drama satire with a huge responsibility of retaining its success.
Earlier in an interview with Deadline, the series’s creator Mike White said of the filming experience, “There are so many fun actors we’ve worked with so far, so it’s just kind of like who’s available.”
The HBO series which is announced in 2024 January was filmed in three prominent places in Thailand including Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. For the third installment the makers are teaming up with the Tourism Authority of Thailand for production.
White said of the destination during the making-of-season 2 video, “The first season we highlighted money and then the second season is sex and I think the third season, it would be maybe a kind of satirical and funny look at death in Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”
Till the release of the 3rd season, you can stream seasons 1 and 2 of White Lotus on Max. Although the news regarding its release was under wraps, as per the report, the 3rd season will come out in 2025.
