Being in an iconic show isn’t always a pleasant thing. Dakota Johnson who played the small role of Dunder Mifflin in the final year of ‘The Office’. The actress revealed how she didn’t enjoy filming the series and that it became one of the worst times of her life. Johnson at her appearance in Late Night With Seth Meyers last week quipped about her not so “remarkable” time at the iconic show. Let’s check out the complete details of this story.

Dakota said being on the show was honestly the worst time of his life

The 34-year-old told host Seth Meyers, “That was honestly the worst time of my life.”

Later on, the host explained how he is a fan of the hit Greg Daniels series, which starred popular actors Steve Carrell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak.

To which Johnson agreed to like the show as well however, her time as an actress wasn’t as she expected.

As the Fifty Shades Grey alum explained, “I love that show so much and they were like, ‘Do you want to be in the series finale?’ And I was like, ‘Of course!’ thinking I’d show up for, like, half a day, I was there for two weeks and I’m barely in the f**king show.”

The actress portrayed an employee at Dunder Mifflin who replaced Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner).

“I was in the background with all of these scenes faxing things,” the actress quipped.

On top of that, the rest of the cast had also not shown a welcoming attitude towards her. “They were sad, and there were also weird dynamics that were going on for the last 10 years,” the Madame Web star  explained. “Some people didn’t speak to each other and I’m coming in like, ‘Hahaha, I’m so excited to be here!’ And nobody wanted to talk to me, nobody gave a f**k.”

Needless to say, the difference between reel and real is quite strong.

The series ran for nine seasons and became immensely popular worldwide. Moreover, it also won numerous accolades including five Emmys. Carell, who portrayed famous foolhardy boss Michael Scott, left the show after season 7. However, he reappeared to film the series’ final episodes.
