Season four of the popular Sony LIV series Gullak is finally out. Beautifully showcasing the struggles of parenthood, this social drama revolves around challenges faced by the Mishra family while dealing with Aman Mishra entering adulthood. Starring Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar in the roles of Santosh Mishra, Shanti Mishra, Anand Mishra, and Aman Mishra respectively season four is a TVF creation and produced by Arunabh Kumar. Moreover, Vidit Tripathi serves as the writer of the series and Shreyansh Pandey has taken the director’s hat.

Gullak 4’s trailer depicts the struggles of parenthood
The trailer portrayed the tension in the Mishra household. While Santosh Mishra and Shanti Mishra attempt to improve their communication with their son Aman as he enters adulthood. Meanwhile, their elder son, Anand Mishra, showed disappointment at Aman’s rebellious behavior. Therefore, the viewers get to explore Aman’s joinery of embracing new experiences such as first love and making new friends. However, his sudden change makes his parents and relatives quite anxious. As he starts being disrespectful and neglects to greet his elders, Santosh, Shanti, and his elder Anand strive to get Aman back onto the right path.
The new season is centered around the conflict faced between different generations in teams of parenting and transitioning into adulthood.
Actor Jameel Khan who plays the role of Santosh Mishra shared his excitement on season four of this much-anticipated series. In an interview with the Economic Times, the actor said, “Every season brings me closer to Santosh Mishra, a character who was once unfamiliar but has now become a cherished part of my career. It gives me a chance to step into my father’s shoes and helps me understand him better.
