Indian actor Barun Sobti, mostly known for his powerful performances in webseries and television, unveils a crucial detail about his upcoming popular series ‘Asur 3.’ During an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in the actor revealed some major facts about this anticipated series. Run for two successful season this Amazon Prime series is loaded with a power-packed cast along with Sobti, including, Arshad Warsi, Vishesh Bansal, Anupriya Goenka, Riddhi Dogra, Sharib Hashmi, Gaurav Arora, Pawan Chopra and Amey Wagh.

Sobti said of the series, “Asur 3’ is being written right now.” Despite being reluctant on unveiling any details on this much anticipated series he gave a hint on its release date. “It should be this year but don’t get too excited (laughs)”, he added.
Season one of the series was released in 2020 becoming a phenomena overnight while the second one released three years later. The reason behind the exceptional hype of season three among the fans might be the season two’s cliffhanging climax. While the outlet asked him if he likes fans, believed Barkha Bisht could be the new Kali. He quipped, “I don’t know I do too many shows these days (laughs).” adding, “No, the makers are coming up with a totally different idea.”

The actor who is famous for his television and OTT works lik ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’, ‘Kohrra’, latest offering ‘Rakshak 2’ and none other than Asur. Sobti incredibly depicts the role of an intelligence officer, Nikhil Nair who had a bittersweet camaraderie with the lead Arshad Warsi’s character Dhananjay Rajpoot “DJ.”
Previously during the trailer release of ‘Asur 2’ the actor had opened up about his iconic character, “For me, Asur has been an emotional awakening. About the premise
The series follows the story of a genius forensic-expert-turned-teacher Nikhil Nair, and his path to returning to his crime department at the Central Bureau of Investigation. Accompanied by his former mentor Dhananjay Rajpoot, Nair engaged himself in a jaw-dropping hide-and-seek game with a brutal serial killer.
