The teaser of ‘1000 Babies’ is finally out now. Directed by Najeem Koya the story of this series revolves around the disturbing plotline. It showcases the gruesome case of mass infanticide. On August 24, the makers shared the 54-second teaser of the movie. Moreover, it also tackles the themes of thriller, horror, and distress.
Apart from Gupta the show also features Sanju Sivaram, Ashwin Kumar, Adil Ibrahim, Shaju Sreedhar, and Sreekanth Balachandran. Although the release date hasn’t been announced yet, as per the sources it’ll be out soon. Let’s delve into the entire details of this segment.
‘1000 Babies’ tackles the plot of mass infanticide
On August 24, the streamer dropped the teaser on YouTube, while captioning the post, “Crying cradles unveil their secrets. 1000 Babies is coming soon on Disney+ Hotstar.”
The small teaser takes the viewers to the horrific world with a haunting soundtrack and the unsettling cries of infants. The clip begins with a glimpse of an abandoned house and Neena Gupta along with some devastated children. Later on, the screen shifted to a hospital where the condition of pregnant women was extremely disturbing.
As the teaser of ‘1000 Babies’ progresses, it becomes clear that a determined cop is now all set to investigate a ghastly case of mass infanticide. Moreover, some shocking incidents also begin to occur as the case takes off. The plot digs into the alarming incidents at a suburban health facility.
The show will be released in multiple regional languages such as Tamil, Telugu Malayalam, and Hindi.
This will be Neena Gupta’s third time featuring in a Malayalam project. Previously she was the part of prominent Malayalam film ” Vasthuhara” in 1991 and the 1992 film “Aham”.
Along with Gupta, other notable actors like Sanju Sivaram, Ashwin Kumar, Adil Ibrahim, Shaju Sreedhar, Irshad Ali, Joy Mathew, VKP, Manu M Lal, Shalu Rahim, Sirajudheen Nazar, Dain Davis, Radhika Radhakrishnan, Vivia Shanth, Nazlin, Dileep Menon, Dhanesh Anand, Srikant Murali, and Sreekanth Balachandran also have pivotal parts in the upcoming venture
Needless to say, it’ll be really exciting for her Malayalam fans to see her in this OTT series. The actress has recently been in the limelight for her National Award win in the Best Supporting Actress category for the film Uunchai. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, and Sarika.
