Gal Gadot opened up about almost being cast as the world’s most iconic character Barbie in the upcoming film starring. Although the role went into Robbie’s bag the markers were considering Gadot as the leading character. In her recent appearance on the red carpet at Netflix’s Tudum: A Global Fan Event, held in São Paulo, Brazil the actress shared her thoughts on being a first choice for the film. Moreover, the film’s leading actress Robbie also thought she indeed has some Barbie energy. Let’s find out how she has reacted.
Gal Gadot said she will do anything to be in Margot Robbie
Robbie said in an interview with Vogue magazine, “Gal Gadot is Barbie energy.”
The wonder woman star responded to her comment while saying, “Margo, I love you! I’ll do anything with you, I’ll be [in] anything with you!”
Moreover, Margot thinks Gal embodies the ideas of Barbie “because she is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that beautiful because she’s so genuinely sincere, and she’s so enthusiastically kind, that it’s almost dorky. It’s like right before being a dork.”
The Israeli beauty, later on, seems to give some hints about her famous wonder woman franchise. As per the sources last year Wonder Woman 3 would not be moving forward and made the fans completely devastated. However, Gadot seems to have hinted that this news might not be entirely correct. As she said, “Things are being worked behind the scenes, and once the right moment arrives, you’ll know about it.”
For now, she is all set to be in an upcoming action-thriller Netflix film Heart of Stone. Gadot again molded into an active role of a CIA agent Rachel Stone.
The film will be dropped on Netflix on August 11.
