Margot Robbie revealed the secret of her feet in the much-awaited “Barbie” movie. In an interview with Fandango, the Australian actress shared how she pulled up the signature high-heeled feet in the movie. The film has been in a lot of limelight since the trailer dropped.
Margot Robbie was holding onto a bar
The 32-year-old told the outlet about the trailer confirming it was her original feet, “It was probably about eight takes. Wasn’t that many?”
“I walked up, we had little sticky bits on the floor, double-sided tape for the shoes, so they wouldn’t come off, so I could get my feet out of them,” Robbie said. “And I was holding onto a bar. But that’s it. I wasn’t in a harness or anything like that. I just walked up, kind of held onto the bar above [the] camera.”
Later on, she shared that using her actual feet is important as “I always try to do my own inserts.”
Moreover, she added, “I don’t like when I watch a movie and I know it’s not my hands. I hate that so much. I always say to the director, ‘Please let me do all my own things. I don’t like knowing that I didn’t do it.'”
Previously, the actress also gave a tour of the Barbie Dreamhouse in a recent video for Architectural Digest. The house was all in pink that featured a pool, bedroom, Clueless-style closet, and ’50s-themed props. The video increased the fan’s excitement even more.
The film also starred popular names like Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ryan Gosling, Hari Nef, Ariana Greenblatt, and John Cena. Needless to say, fans are super excited to see the film on the big screen.
The film will hit theaters on July 21st.
