Olivia Rodrigo shared her plans for her upcoming 21st Birthday. During her recent appearance at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 14th Annual Governors Awards, the “Good 4 U” singer revealed how she would celebrate her special day. Olivia Rodrigo said her birthday will be a big birthday
The 20-year-old told Entertainment Tonight, “It is a big birthday. I think I’m gonna have a party with my friends and pop some champagne, you know? It’s the 21st!”
Rodrigo who will turn 21 this February 20th hasn’t any plan to do any stereotypical 21st-birthday tradition. As she said, “No Vegas, not yet. I’ll save that. I’ll save that for later.”
However, for now, the singer appeared to be having “so much fun” at the star-studded event. “This feels like Hollywood. This feels star-studded. I’m happy,” Olivia shared. “This [dress] is vintage YSL. I just thought, you know, it seems classy. We’re at an Oscars event, so that’s the vibe.”
“I love movies, I love watching movies so much — going to the movie theater is like my favorite thing ever. So it’s always fun to kind of have a night where filmmaking is celebrated,” she continues.
Moreover, talking about another big event in her life, the upcoming 2024 GRAMMY Awards Rodrigo shared, “I’m so ready! I’m so excited. I’m such a big fan of the GRAMMYs.”
Later on, the singer who received three nominations at the event added, “I grew up watching them all the time. My mom and I used to make predictions of who we thought were gonna win. So just being able to attend is a dream come true.”
“And the fact that I’m nominated is just, like, out of this world,” Rodrigo added.
Besides of achievements the singer also seems to be happy in her personal life since dating British actor Louis Partridge in December of last year. Although, the duo who first sparked dating rumors back in October hasn’t confirmed their romance multiple outings and public PDAs undoubtedly confirmed it.
The Grammy winner was previously linked with Zack Bia and Adam Faze and also quietly dated her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star, Joshua Bassett 2019 to 2020.
The 66 Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at 8 p.m.
