Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Wish Kate “Health and Healing”

The Sussex royals who stepped down from their duty as senior royals in 2020 said in a statement to E-News, “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

In a March 22 video Kate unveiled her cancer diagnosis although she hasn’t shared the type or stage of the cancer.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery,” the princess said in the video. “It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family.”

Later on, the 42-year-old explained, “My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment, This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”

Moreover, the Princess of Wales also asked for privacy during this recovery and also explained how she and her husband William had found the right way to explain to her young children.

Two months ago Kate’s father-in-law King Charles also shared his own cancer diagnosis.

For now the Prince is being optimistic about her journey as she shared, “I am well and getting stronger every day, by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.”

Moreover, the Princess also shared motivational words for other cancer patients, “at this time I’m thinking about all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease in whatever form please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

Needless to say, the royal family is going through a pretty hard time.
