Zendaya is shedding light on the fate of the much anticipated season of Euphoria. The actress who also serves as the executive producer of the HBO series revealed that although she is in the dark when it comes to the actual timings or plotline she is still hopeful that the filming will begin soon. Zendaya said the delay in season three is “beyond” her control
The 27-year-old told the outlet, “If it’s right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course. But it’s beyond me.”
Moreover, Zendaya who earned her second Emmy explained that she’s unfortunately “not in charge” of season three’s fate.
The Dune star is not the only cast member who is optimistic about the season three actress Storm Reid who played the youngest sister of Zendaya’s character Rue told E! News while on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Zendaya’s new movie Challengers April 16 that she is also looking forward to the season three.
“If it’s meant to be, we’ll be back soon and we’ll give the audience what they want and deserve,” Storm shared. “We’re on pause right now, but we’re anxious to get back.”
The 20-year-old continues, “Hopefully, we will be back.”
HBO originally announced the third season in February 2022. However, the network currently confirmed announced that the new season, which had been set to debut in 2025, has been not streaming soon.
They said in a statement on March 25, “HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season, In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”
Apart from the reel life sisters actor Jacob who plays Nate Jacob in the series shared his concern for getting too old to convincingly play high school students.
The 26-year-old quipped on The Tonight Show in January, “I hope [filming is] soon, otherwise they’re going to have to Benjamin Button me or something. I’m going to have, like, a bad back, walking down the hallway.”
The Priscilla actor “I’m assuming that we’re going to have to go forward. Otherwise it’s going to seem like a weird bit.”
