Harry styles would be playing a blonde character in My policeman. Starring opposite to Emma Corrin, the Grammy winner is preparing to play the role of a gay cop. The film is going to be set in 1950-1990s timeline, a timeline where homophobia was predominant and homosexuality was illegal. ‘The Secret Agent’ (2016)’ actor, David Dawson would also be portraying the male love affair interest in the film.

The film is an adaptation of ‘My Policeman‘ a 2012 novel by Bethan Roberts, set in Brighton, England. The plot of the novel revolves around a love triangle but with a twist of gayness. Marion, a schoolteacher falls in love with Tom Burgess, a homosexual cop. A museum curator, Patrick Hazelwood is also depicted to be head over heels for the policeman.
Due to the constraints in same-sex marriage at that time, Tom and Marion get married. Couldn’t seem to keep their love of the trails, Tom and Patrick start an affair. Soon enough Marion gets jealous and exposes the museum curator.
The film would also star Georgina McKee, Rupert James Hector Everett, and Linus William Roache, as older version of Marion, Patrick, and Tom. The production of the film would be starting next week. We are sure that fans would once again go crazy over Mr. Harry Styles.
