Kylie Jenner opens up about her experience as a young mom. The beauty mogul who is a mom to 6-year-old Stormi Webster and 2-year-old Aire Webster whom she shares with ex Travis Scott shared an insight into her postpartum struggles. In a cover story for Elle magazine published on October 23. Jenner conceived her first child at the age of 19 which really affected her in several ways. The Kardashians star has also been vocal about her postpartum struggles, hence without any further ado let’s dive into the complete details of this story.

Kylie Jenner said it took her a year to feel like myself again

The 27-year-old told the outlet, “I haven’t had a baby in a few years. The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was, and then losing it—not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies.”

The Kylie Cosmetics founder also revealed how she took time to grow not only as a mother but also as a person.

“It took me a year to feel like myself again,” she added. “At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever.”

Moreover, Kylie also unveiled the reaction she had when she first found out she was pregnant with Stormie.

“I got pregnant when I was 19,” Jenner recalled. “Having a baby really young was more shocking, maybe, because I saw these changes happening to my body—all these new stretch marks and things that I didn’t have before.”

The reality star who is now dating actor Timothée Chalamet for over a year noted  postpartum depression as feeling “like I was on autopilot.”

However, for now, after seeing several ups and downs in her life Kylie is proud of herself as she told the outlet, “I have to give my younger self grace. I don’t like to have too many regrets in life. I think my path is what got me here today. I’m happy with where I am and just have to keep moving forward.”

Previously in an interview with British Vogue in August Jenner first addressed her postpartum depression revealing, “Stormi’s lasted a year.”

As for her son, it’s more difficult for the media personality as she noted, “Probably with my son it was major baby blues. So I was just so emotional over things that I probably wouldn’t be that emotional about.”
