Migos rapper Takeoff was shot dead overnight outside a Houston bowling alley on November 1. The police and his attorney confirmed the news. The rapper originally named Kirshnik Khari Ball was only 28 years old at the time. He was shot at the party that was being held at 810 Billiards and Bowling Houston. Authorities of the party confirmed that the shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. local time. Let’s Look into the details.
How did Takeoff get shot?
According to Houston police, two firearms were used in the shooting. Takeoff was in a private party at 810 Billiards and Bowling Houston. Shortly after the party ended an argument broke out at the place which led to the shooting around 2:30 am. Later on, when the police arrived he was found dead outside the entrance to the bowling alley, located on the third floor of a larger complex. Along With Takeoff the other two victims, a 23-year-old male and a 24-year-old female were found injured.
Houston police chief Troy Finner expressed his grief as he said, “There were 40 people, at least, at this event. And people left, possibly out of fear, I ask you one thing… What if it was your brother? What if it was your son? You would want somebody to step up. So please step up. Get the information to us so we can give some closure to this family who is hurting right now.”
Moreover, his record label Quality Control Music issued a statement sharing their condolences. The statement follows: “It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved brother Kirshnik Khari Ball, Known to the world as Takeoff. Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated. Please respect his family and friends as we all continue to process this monumental loss”
