Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo recalled her 2015 breakup with singer Nick Jonas. On the 7th November episode of the influencer’s TLC reality show, The Culpo Sisters she unveiled a lot of details. The model dated Jones for almost two years. However, their relationship ended in 2015.
Olivia Culpo said dating Nick Jonas is a ‘formative experience’
On the premiere episode of The Culpo Sisters Culpo said, “That was a very formative experience for me. I moved to L.A. with him, I had no brand, no money and I was in love. So that was great, right?”
Furthermore, she continued,” When he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity. My whole identity was in him, which is a very common story of a young person in love. I thought were gonna get married, I thought all the things.”
Later on, she recalled the moments of financial trouble. She couldn’t even afford her apartment. The influencer said, “I couldn’t even afford my groceries. It was a serious, pivotal moment for me but it’s something that taught me that you can’t give up.”
However, they are both currently in a happy phase of their lives.
Culpo is in a serious long relationship with NFL star Christian McCaffrey. In an interview, she reflected on their long-distance relationship. “I feel like I’ve always to a certain extent been in a long-distance relationship because we are both pursuing different things that take us away.”
She continued, “He’s traveling all the time. I’m travelling all the time. But I think when you really love and respect somebody, you want them to achieve their goals and you want to help facilitate whatever they need to get to where they want to go. We’re really understanding about that.”
On the other hand, Nick is married to Quantico star Priyanka Chopra for almost 4 years. On top of that earlier this year they welcomed their daughter Malti.
