Prince Harry spelling the bees on his and his wife Meghan Markle’s new Netflix docuseries ‘Harry and Meghan’. The Duke of Sussex said UK Media is the one to blame for Meghan Markle’s miscarriage. In November 2020 in a personal essay for New York Times Markel first opened up about her miscarriage. Moreover, her husband said the miscarriage happen due to the stress from the hateful British tabloid.
Prince Harry said the British Tabloids on Thomas Markle caused Meghan’s miscarriage
The 38-year-old royal said the drama British tabloid created about Meghan and her father Thomas Markle is the one to blame for the unfortunate event. The Duke and Duchess shared the affect newspapers had on their life. The Mail on Sunday and the MailOnline printed a section of a private letter the Duchess wrote to her father Thomas Markle.
“I believe my wife suffered a miscarriage because of what the Mail did,I watched the whole thing.”- Harry said. However, he wasn’t sure that “the miscarriage was caused by that,” but he described how disturbed Meghan was due to this.
The Duke continues, “Bearing in mind the stress that caused, the lack of sleep and the timing of the pregnancy—how many weeks she was,I can say from what I saw, that miscarriage was created by what they were trying to do to her.”
The 41-year-old Duchess also recalled the horrific moment which happened in their Montecito, Calif home. “I really wasn’t sleeping, and the first morning that we woke up in our new home is when I miscarried.”- She said.
The ‘Sutis’ star first opened up about her miscarriage in a personal essay for New York Times in November 2020.
“When I reveal things that are moments of vulnerability, when it comes to having a miscarriage and maybe having felt ashamed about that…it’s okay. You’re human. It’s okay to talk about that. And I could make the choice to never talk about those things or I could make the choice to say, ‘With all the bad that comes with this, the good is being able to help other people.'”- She said in the essay.
The Duke and Duchess are currently proud parents of son Archie Harrison,3, and daughter Lilibet Diana, 18 months.
