Steven Spielberg shared shocking details about his film! The legend who gifted the masses some of the path-breaking films of all time including Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Schindler’s List never watched his own masterpiece on-screen. In a recent interview with E! News, the Oscar winner explained his approach to film-making.
Steven Spielberg revealed he didn’t like to dwell on the past
Explaining his approach the legendary filmmaker noted while the movie is done he moves on to the next project without any rewinds or replays.
As he noted it’s all about looking forward. “I don’t dwell,” he said, referring to his old works as not up to mark.
However, Spielberg still has one exception on the list, which is the 1982 sci-fi movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The circumstances of such expectations were only if it was movie night with his grandkids.
For this reason, he clarified, “I’ll show my grandkids E.T. for the first time. I’ll sit next to them and tell them, ‘He doesn’t really die.’ And, ‘It’s only scary for a little while and then you grow to love him,’ I guide them through the experience.”

The 77-year-old first arrived on the scene with his 1969 project “Eyes” which is part of the Night Gallery segment.
He made his theatrical debut in 1974 with The Sugarland Express. After a year of struggling he finally got his breakthrough as the director of the movie Jaws in 1975 and the rest is history.
This movie gained immense acclaim from the audience turning into a cult. Apart from that, it also claimed prestigious recognition like Academy Awards for Best Film Editing, Best Original Dramatic Score, and Best Sound created by Robert Hoyt, Roger Heman, Earl Madery, and John Carter.
Later on, his success continued with legendary films like Catch Me If You Can, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones franchise, Amistad, and The Color PurpleThe Terminal. With a career spanning more than five decades, Spielberg has gained three Academy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, twelve Emmy Awards, nine Golden Globes and one Tony Award.
