American rapper Travis Scott is in trouble again. The rapper reportedly punches a man at New York Nightclub. The man hit a sound engineer at around 3:25 a.m. on March 1. The New York police were rushed to the scene after the argument occurred. As per the report of NBC news “he was involved in a verbal dispute with” Scott.
Travis Scott caused $12,000 worth of damage to the man
The 31-year-old was accused of causing $12,000 in damage to the man. Moreover, the statement obtained by NBC news says the rapper was involved “into a physical altercation” before he reportedly “punched the victim with a closed fist on the left side of the face.”
The man whom he punched was 52 years old. However, the name or other personal details of the victim hasn’t been revealed yet. Therefore, The medical supplies of the victim were caused around $12,000. However, Scott’s attorney Mitchell Schuster shared a statement where he believed his client is innocent. Schuster said he was dragging down without any valid reason.
Moreover, he said, “While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation. We are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
Apart from this, Club Nebula’s managing partner Ritchie Romero said, “This is blown completely out of proportion. It was a great night.”
On February 28 prior to coming to the nightclub, the rapper was a special guest at Don Toliver’s concert at the Irving Plaza. Scott is the father of two children Stormi, 5, and 12-month-old Aire whom he shares with the reality star Kylie Jenner. In the winter 2021 issue of XXL Magazine, he talked about his fatherhood journey. He said, “Being a dad is better than what I thought it would be. Stormi is one of the best human beings I know. She’s like my best friend. She just inspires me and she surprises me every day with how she’s thinking.”
