Vanessa Hudgens thankful for the pitfalls for shaping her life. The actress who was in a relationship with Elvis star Austin Butler for nearly a decade before calling it quits in 2020 shares she is grateful that this relationship didn’t work out as it brought her into the arms of her current husband Cole Tucker. Vanessa opened up a lot of facts about her love life on the She Pivots podcast’s March 6 episode. Let’s check out why she thinks like that.
Vanessa said her last breakup had really catapulted her into a very special place
Vanessa explained on the podcast, “I feel like so much of my character was built from my breakups.My last breakup had really catapulted me into a very, very special place.”
“It pushed me to the right person, which I’m so grateful for,” she shared, adding of Cole, “He is just the most supportive, real, understanding human being that I’ve ever met.”
The former couple parted ways after nearly a decade together in early 2020. Afterwards Butler started dating model Kaia Gerber in 2022, as for the Spring Breakers actress tied the knot with Cole in Tulum, Mexico, in December.
Back in November 2020, the actress first sparked dating rumors with the athlead after they were spotted on a date in Los Angeles.
Ahead of the ceremony the 35-year-old revealed while the processing of planning for the special day was extremely overwhelming in the best possible way.
She told E! News in November, “It is so much, So many things to decide on. And it’s hard for me because I love so many different styles. I love spooky season, so there is a part of me that is very much Gothic. But then there’s also the other side of me that’s, like, super ethereal and fairy-like. So, I’m having a hard time figuring out where I’m gonna land.”
However, her plans turned out to be magical, giving her matrimonial life an unforgettable experience.
As she told Vogue in December about her wedding, “It was genuinely the most magical weekend of my life, I am so grateful that we got to have a private wedding, and it helped that I took everyone’s phones away. It was amazing because at the dinner, I would look around and everyone was talking to each other—our family and friend groups coming together and creating real relationships that I know they’re going to invest real time into.”
The High School Musical alum added, “I couldn’t have dreamt it to be any better.”
